I.I.S.S. Berenini is a public science and technology secondary school (with about 800 students and 100 members of staff) located in a small town called Fidenza, in the province of Parma counting almost 28.000 inhabitants with a school population aged between 14 and 18  that comes mainly from local areas and towns but also a minority of 1st or 2nd generation immigrants.

Our state school was set in 1963 and it has been developing its curriculum since then by introducing new core subjects to comply with the local and regional community demands for specialised technicians but also to offer our students a higher level of scientific education in order to attend university.

Our students are offered a choice of extra courses if they are interested in CAD design, English for Cambridge certifications (PET, FIRST), Maths workshops, Computer science licence (ECDL) and job experience through work placement in related sectors as a part of their school curriculum.
