The third international meeting was held in Paris (France) on 29th and 30th of October. All partners, with the exception of Croatian partners were presented. Aims of the third meeting were two: (1) to present teaching modules (TM), their contents, knowledge, skills and competences, including tools, methods and teaching methods that will be used for each TM, (2) to present structure of the pilot summer logistics school in 2019.
Five TMs were selected to be offered on SLS in 2019. First one is MARITIME AND INTERMODAL TRANSPORT SIMULATION/SIMULATORS, second one is SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT – “COLD CHAIN/PRODUCTS”, third one is WAREHOUSE ANALYSIS AND ORDER PROCESSING, fourth one is TRANSPORT ORGANISATION and the fifth one is KEY/NEW BASIC SKILLS IN TRANSPORT AND LOGISTICS.
First TM MARITIME AND INTERMODAL TRANSPORT SIMULATION/SIMULATORS and fourth TM TRANSPORT ORGANISATION will be obligatory. Other modules will be optional. Each student will choose one optional module.
First TM and fourth TM will last 1 day and a half (12 hours). First module will start on Monday and will be finished on Thuesday late in the morning (12am, 1pm). Fourth module will start on Thuesday in the evening and will end Wednesday late in the evening. Optional modules will last one day, 8 hours, on Thursday. On Friday morning will be organized visit to Port of Koper to see operations on terminals and in warehouses. Saturday will be the last day of the school and will include evaluation of the school, summary etc.
Each partner presented the TM that was working on. Patricija Bajec, Bojan Beškovnik and Jonathan Rosetti presented 1st TM. Patricija Bajec presented 2nd TM. Diana Božič presented by Skype 3rd TM, Marc A. presented the 4th TM and Jonathan Rosetti the 5th one. Each TM was discussed by all partners after each presentation.
As regards the participants of the SLS, each school will send 2 VET learners, 1 teacher and 1 accompanying person. Participants and accompanying persons will be accommodated in Dijaški dom Portorož, which was found to be most appropriate place as regards the location (400 m from the Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport), quality of the accommodation and the price.
SLS will be held on UL, FPP starting from 9th September till 14th September 2019. Classic lecture rooms will be used for direct instructions, and two computer lab will be used for flipped classrooms. One visit will be organized and potentially also invited speaker from logistics company will be invited.
Participants discussed also dissemination of SLS. Patricija Bajec presented plans (4 conferences that need to be held by each main partner) and possibilities of doing dissemination.
All secondary school were requested to discuss the obligatory TM that will be selected, to select potential participants of SLS and to continue making dissemination.
All main partners will start finalizing TMs’s content, will define lecturers and material that will be used on the SLS.
